About the image:
Simplicity. This image has nothing special about it and yet, it has everything. It can evoke a lot of feelings from the observant, and each person will see it differently. The rich green, along with the shadows, are creating a unique tone. In addition, the boardwalk that doesn’t have a clear end to it is causing the viewer to go back and forth through the image. Lastly, the trees are high and nothing else can be seen beside them, thus conveying uncertainty. That’s why I called it “inside the jungle”. It represents what would one feel walking inside a jungle. Not sure of the current location and where the path ahead leads.
