About the image:
This imaged was taken during a multiday walk of the Kepler Track. It was the second day out of four and we had great weather and sunny morning. At that time of the day, the sun was making some areas bright while creating shadows in others. It added contrast to the image and made it more powerful. Another key element here is the view from that particular point and how it is drawing the eyes into the image. It's showing the rest of the way, that will lead us on the narrow edge of the range.
